Left behind in Kabul. Alone. He waited 47 days.
K-9 Chaos was not a dog who did his job. He was a dog who had DECIDED, completely, permanently, without reservation, that Lieutenant Marcus Webb was coming back for him. No matter how long it took.
At Hamid Karzai International Airport, Kabul, on the morning of August 30th, 2021, a three-year-old Belgian Malinois sat in an empty aircraft hangar. The last American plane had left six hours ago. The evacuation was over.
Chaos had been left behind.
Not intentionally. The chaos of the withdrawal. The panic. The rush. Webb had been separated from Chaos during the final evacuation. Put on a different plane. Told Chaos would be on the next flight.
There was no next flight.
Chaos survived the first day alone. Waiting at the hangar where Webb had left him.
Chaos survived the first week. Scavenging food from abandoned military supplies.
Chaos survived 47 days in Taliban-controlled Kabul. Alone. Hiding. Waiting.
Because Chaos survived on the belief that Webb wouldn't leave him forever.
Back in the United States, Webb was losing his mind. Filed reports. Called congressmen. Contacted rescue organizations. Went on the news.
"I left my dog in Afghanistan," he said on CNN, his voice breaking. "I left my brother. And I'm going to get him back."
The military said it was impossible. Kabul had fallen. Taliban controlled the airport. No way to extract a dog.
Webb didn't care about impossible.
He contacted Pineapple Express, a veteran-run extraction operation. Gave them Chaos's last known location. Sent photos. Videos. Anything that could help.
For 47 days, Webb didn't sleep. Didn't eat properly. Just waited for news.
On October 16th, 2021, his phone rang.
"We found him," the voice said. "We found Chaos."
A rescue team had infiltrated Kabul. Used Webb's intel. Found Chaos still at the hangar. Still waiting. Forty-seven days later.
Chaos was emaciated. Dehydrated. Traumatized.
But alive.
The extraction took three days. Smuggling Chaos out of Taliban-controlled territory. Through checkpoints. Through danger.
But they got him out.
On October 19th, 2021, Chaos landed at Dulles International Airport. Webb was waiting on the tarmac.
When they opened the crate, Chaos didn't move. Stared at Webb like he was seeing a ghost.
"It's me, brother," Webb said, kneeling down. "I came back. I promised I'd come back."
Chaos stepped out slowly. Walked to Webb. Collapsed into his arms.
The reunion video went viral. Seventeen million views in three days.
But what people didn't see was what happened after.
For six months, Chaos wouldn't sleep unless Webb was in the room. Wouldn't eat unless Webb fed him. Wouldn't go outside unless Webb went first.
"He's terrified I'll leave him again," Webb said in an interview. "And I don't blame him. I left him once. In the worst place. At the worst time. He waited 47 days for me. And I'll spend the rest of my life making sure he knows I'm never leaving again."
Three years later, Chaos still sleeps with his head on Webb's chest. Still follows him everywhere.
Still making sure Webb doesn't disappear.
K-9 Chaos. Survived 47 days alone in Kabul. Extracted by heroes. Reunited with his handler. Home.

Women: "We don't need men"
โMilitary - 95% men
โFirefighters - 97% men
โCoal Miners - 95% men
โTruck drivers - 90% men
โConstruction - 92% men
โOil rig workers - 96% men
โSurgeons - 82% men
โEngineers - 89% men
โThe world goes around because of men.
โ
โThank you for pointing out sexism:
โTeachers - 76% women
โNurses 88% women
โSocial workers - 83% women
โElder care 80%+ women
โChild care 94% women
โFood prep - 56% women
โAdmin/clerical - 72% women
โMedical & health services managers - majority women
โThe entire unpaid labor economy that keeps society functioning - overwhelmingly women.
Since we're listing statistics, let's finish the set properly...
โPrison population: Men - 96%
โSex offenders in prison: Men - 98.5%
โProsecutions for sexual offences: Men 98%
โDomestic homicide perpetrators: Men โ 90%
โOverall violent crime: Men 85%+
So if we're going to argue that society runs because of men, we should also acknowledge the parts of society that fall apart because of them.
Wait, just not finished yet...
โChildbirths - 0% men
โMen exist because of women.
โMilitary is needed because MEN start wars.
No one said Women don't need men.
They said we DON'T NEED misogyny.
โThere's a difference.
They show that women:
Were kept out of unions
Were banned from combat
Were barred from engineering schools
Were fired when pregnant
Were excluded from whole industries by law
โ
Yoโu don't get points for dominating spaces you locked women out of.
You made the right fucking choice and every woman reading this needs to understand what you saw in that moment.
This wasn't about painkillers or driving.
This was about recognizing a man's character when you needed him most and he failed the most basic test of partnership.
A real man doesn't let his woman suffer while making excuses about inconvenience.
You saw exactly how he would handle pregnancy complications, sick children, family emergencies, or any real crisis.
His comfort mattered more to him than your pain.
That tells you everything about how the rest of your life would have looked with him.
Research proves that support during difficult times is one of the most reasonable expectations in healthy relationships.
You weren't asking him to move mountains.
You needed basic human decency and he couldn't even deliver that when it mattered.
Smart women pay attention to these moments because they predict decades of being emotionally abandoned by someone who claims to love you.
You dodged a lifetime of begging for basic compassion from someone incapable of giving it.
The right person will drop everything to ease your suffering, not rationalize why they can't help.
Trust your instincts when someone shows you their character through their actions.
You saved yourself and any future children from a man who would abandon you when life gets difficult.

Ilang taon nang pinaglalaanan ng bilyon-bilyong pondo ang flood control. Pero bakit ganito pa rin ang resulta?
The pattern is clear: corruption in public infrastructure is not just inconvenientโit is dangerous, costly, and unjust.

LEVISTE LINKS EX-REP ERIC BUHAIN TO DPWH PROJECT ANOMALIES
WATCH: Batangas 1st District Representative Leandro Leviste reveals more details about an alleged bribery attempt by a contractor to stop his probe into anomalies in flood control projects in his province.
In an interview on BNCโs #OnPoint, Leviste claimed that kickbacks of up to 20% were allegedly demanded during the previous administration, with most projects going to favored contractors. He also confirmed that former congressman Eric Buhain was involved, based on information from an arrested DPWH engineer.
One project under scrutiny is the Binambang Riverbank Protection Project in Balayan, Batangas, where inspections revealed the use of a 4-meter sheet pile instead of the required 15 meters.
Buhain has yet to issue a statement.

Nagtanong at nagbigay suporta si Akbayan Rep. Perci Cendaรฑa sa privilege speech ni Las Piรฑas Rep. Mark Anthony Santos na nananawagan ng House probe ng PrimeWaterโs services.
Malinaw ang ating panawagan, kailangan ng masusing imbestigasyon sa serbisyo ng PrimeWater. Our right to quality and potable water is fundamental! โ๐ป

You see Senator Mark, ang ingay mo ngayon. Naninibago na kami. Hindi bagay.๐

Good morning! Karamihan ng sangkot sa Flood Control controversy ay mga nasa Political Dynasty. See. Walang mabuting political dynasty. LAHAT ng lugar na may dynasty, MAHIRAP. Kaya sana matuto na sa 2028. Hahahaha. Yun lang. mwa mwa.
One last time for the people in the back:
I am Camille. Not Claudine. Spell it with me now: C-A-M-I-L-L-E.
Also, Google is free. (Unlike those peopleโs corruption-funded shopping sprees.)
