#WATCH | Bhubaneswar | On 'Utkarsh Odisha–Make in Odisha Conclave 2025', Global CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel, TV Narendran says, "Tata Steel's relationship with Odisha is 100 years old. We have been here since before the formation of the state. Earlier, we were in the mining sector, and in the last 10 years, there has been an investment of Rs 100,000 crores in the state. In the coming days also we will continue to invest and grow in Odisha...Now, if you see all the states are competing with each other for investment. Having such investments is good as you get to talk about your experience and also get more investors to the state. The Eastern region states are rich in minerals but somehow the development has been behind its potential. If you look now, over the last two decades many states in the Eastern region many states have started to do better. We will expand the steel plants at Neelachal, Kalinga Nagar and Bhushan Nagar."

Its been a month since we bid farewell to Shri Ratan Tata Ji. His contribution to Indian industry will forever continue to inspire. Here’s an OpEd I wrote which pays tribute to his extraordinary life and work. https://t.co/lt7RwVZEqe
A testament to the unwavering strength of our steel, the Tatanagar armoured vehicle was recently featured in the Autocar Magazine. The vehicle is an extraordinary piece of machinery that imbibes the spirit of power while standing tall as a living icon of history and legacy.
Developed using our steel, this war machine was used in all theatres of the war, ranging from the deserts of North Africa to Burma and beyond. It was widely used by the Indian Army and the other Commonwealth armies including the 18th British Infantry and the Royal New Zealand Artillery, making this a frontrunner during World War II. Autocar's very own Shapur Kotwal recently drove this vintage icon and shared his experience in an insightful article in the Autocar India magazine.

In the sad demise of Shri Ratan Tata, India has lost an icon who blended corporate growth with nation building, and excellence with ethics. A recipient of Padma Vibhushan and Padma Bhushan, he took forward the great Tata legacy and gave it a more impressive global presence. He inspired seasoned professionals and young students alike. His contribution to philanthropy and charity is invaluable. I convey my condolences to his family, the entire team of the Tata Group and his admirers across the globe.
