To Cristiano Ronaldo, The Greatest Of All Time

I'm writing this as a lifelong Manchester United supporter who is tired. Tired of watching the club we love rot from the inside.

Cristiano, you saw it firsthand when you came back. You said it yourself in 2022, nothing has changed since you left the first time.

The gym, the kitchen, the technology, Old Trafford leaking. You were crucified for saying it, but you were RIGHT.

We need you to do one last job for the club.

Please, talk to your friends in Saudi. Convince them to come and buy Manchester United. It's the ONLY way out of this mess now.

Why? Because we have tried everything else. And the people in charge now are not fit to run this club.

1. The Glazers have killed us slowly for 20 years.

They bought the club with debt and put that debt ON the club. Over £1bn taken out in interest, debt repayments and dividends. While City built a campus, they let Old Trafford rust.

While other clubs invested in world class scouting, they gave us a leaking roof and rusted pipes. They never cared about football, only about what they could take. They are owners in name only.

2. INEOS was supposed to be the saviour, but they have made it worse.

We thought Sir Jim and INEOS would bring football intelligence. What have we got?

A minority ownership that creates chaos, who is actually in charge? Glazers or INEOS?

Mass layoffs of 250+ loyal staff who kept the club running, to save a few million.

Raising ticket prices on our most loyal fans while the team sits in mid-table.

Talking about building a new stadium while the current team has no identity, no plan, no leadership on the pitch.

Sacking people, cutting corners on Christmas parties and lunches, but no clear sporting project. This is not Manchester United DNA, this is corporate cost-cutting.

From Woodward to Arnold to this new regime, it's the same cycle of incompetence. We are becoming a meme club, Cristiano.

You know what United is supposed to be. You felt Old Trafford at its peak. You know the standards Sir Alex set. This is not it.

Saudi owners get a lot of criticism, but look at what serious investment has done across football.

What Newcastle fans have now, what City have; structure, ambition, best-in-class facilities, ruthlessness to win.

We just want that same chance to compete again.

We don't want sportswashing.
We want FOOTBALL washing.
We want the debt gone.
We want Old Trafford restored.
We want Carrington rebuilt.
We want a proper football board, not bankers and chemical company executives who think they know football.

You are loved in Saudi, you have the ear of the biggest decision makers there.

You are still one of us. If anyone can make them understand what Manchester United MEANS and what it COULD be with real owners, it's you.

Convince them to save us. Bring us home.
