Cats fans Jake, Sambo and Johnny break down all the action from the Geelong Cats AFL + VFL Mens & Womens teams every week!
@Joey_Kozina Interesting, to me the last 18 months have been where he’s looked most likely to fit into our current system because he’s developed speed to go with his defensive pressure, and improved his kicking. No guarantee he’s on the list next year of course - there are no guarantees.

Hi All, I've created a Patreon which I hope will get me closer to my dream of doing this full time (granted I already do more than 40 hours a week). If you find my work valuable and you can afford it, please consider subscribing. Much love to you all!

Marcus Herbert & Kye Annand both rolled out for their new sides (at State level) after mid-season draft.
Herbert v Peel Thunder (WAFL)
23 disposals (1st on team), 4 tackles, 3 inside 50s
Annand v Sydney Swans (VFL)
13 disposals (76.9%), 4 marks, 7 intercept possessions
Former Cat Ted Clohesy also continued a strong SANFL season for Woodville-West Torrens, racking up 27 disposals (59.3%), 6 marks, 6 tackles and 5 clearances in a loss to Norwood.

@ChidgR Lennox Hofmann, Nick Driscoll and now Jhye Clark all provide some dash out of the backline. Hofmann more Burke size at 191cm, Clark and Driscoll on the shorter side at 180ish cm. Also think this is an area we should use Mullin when/if he's not tagging.
@IanWragg416803 Probably would have if he’d remained healthy - but Ollie Henry and Jack Martin have been very good, going to be hard for him to get in the 23 in 2026 I’m guessing.
@Jerkymcjerkjerk To be fair, this game was mostly highlights. Maybe 1-2 poor kicks, but this is up there with his best game of the season. Played (commendably) within his skillset, was quite a consistent presence across the game, and had noticeably more highs than lows.
@Sivixio28 Yeah I think it’s probably learning to understand the context of each decision better.
He has a really dangerous weapon to use with his kicking - it’s deciding the moment to use it. Probably just a time thing.
@Pivotonian1838 Could be... if he goes though I reckon they'll double their efforts to bring in some veteran depth to play the same role he is at the moment.
