.@boohoo, like @ASOS, has launched a #visualsearch technology function allowing shoppers to search products using screenshots and photos, though this doesn’t seem to be available on the app yet. @boohoo & @ASOS are really tapping into consumer behaviour. Plus, it actually works.
.@cosstores’s £6 standard UK delivery charge is a bit pricey, albeit quick (2-3 working days). In comparison, @thisiswhistles’s standard UK delivery is free and takes 3-5 days and UK next weekday is £6. Can’t even click & collect @cosstores so no alternative for shoppers
@soult@whatbutlersaw@newlook@hm@Primark Far too many second and third tier stores in high street locations which are small, haven’t been invested in, have little visual merchandising and carry a narrow product range - they make for an inconsistent brand image and need to be culled
No surprise that @newlook’s CVA was voted for by 98% of its creditors but closing just 10% of its stores is not enough - the retailer must make its store base more comparable to the likes of @hm and @Primark and ensure that it has the right stores in the right locations
