Why did Q sub for Cags there? After Beck Way, he had to be the last option if it was to go that far. But now there is only one reliever and Massey left. Cags pitching is not ideal, but he was the one who could do it if needed. I just don't get it. #kcroyals
@jtpenfield But that it's how Tolbert always gets thrown out - he props his torso off the bag and loses contact. Maybe change that too. AND when everyone knows you're running first pitch, what are we running??
@goldbergkc@TheRealJGuts
Why was Texas allowed to challenge the safe call on Tolbert? They lost their challenge on Cags throwout at homeplate. The umpire said it was a Texas challenge, not an umpire review??
Why did the Texas Rangers get to challenge the call on Tolbert at second? They lost their challenge on Cags throw out at home? The umpire said it was a Texas challege not an umpire review? Forget that Tolbert attempting to steal was a bad call in the first place? #KCRoyals
@jazayerli How about putting Isbel in with twon outs rather than attempting a bunt to score the run. I'm a little surpassed he didn't have Vinnie lay down a sacrifice bunt.....
@Shauncore But,can the coaching philosophy on how the team approaches hitting, baserunning, etc, effect the lineup? I think the potential that this team has and the fact that they are underperforming as a team-with the exception of Bobby and Isbel-you have to last some of that at their feet
money to go to the games, both now and in the future. How about an apology and something that, at least, looks like an attempt to make a change - you might find that fans are willing to stick by you rather than telling them to "be patient." That time has passed...
#KCRoyals I hear what JJ and Q are saying about the players working hard and feeling the pressure of how the team is playing while also taking huge amounts of criticism on social media-I do believe that wasn't to do more and be better than they are. But JJ and Q's comments are
almost a jab at the fans to say "shut up, we know better." To really be out of the playoff run before June 1stb and unwilling to make any changes whatsoever - even just lineup changes - while making those comments is going to cost them the fanbase who spend their hard-earned
@RyanMcChesney1@pgrathoff Wasn't really defending Falter. I was questioning the decision to start him in the first place. But if you are going to pitch him, pitch him. Sending him out for the 3rd inning but not letting him finish and then putting Avila in that high stress situation makes no sense.
