Tony, what you say makes sense and is good to a point. Full competition would be great. Why insurance at all? For a real consumer market it has to go. Insurance provides no care but takes a cut. Parasites. I'm no fan of government, however the medicare advantage system is mostly sufficient. Just take that model and expand. Start with 64+ then 63+ and so on. Phase it in. I'm sure you understand the people on medicare right now consume a lot of care. The lower the age of that cohort, the lower the cost overall. It can work.
