On all EVTEC hardware it's usually the same system. If there is no contactless, the QR for ad-hoc payment also only appears once a car is plugged in

The "benefit" I guess is that you don't accidentally start a charge on the wrong connector

Finally, contactless payment at Agrola Delémont!

The capital city is only now getting convenient payment, when Porrentruy and Bassecourt already had it at less used locations...

Other interesting things: a minimum fee (not start fee) and a penalty fee that doubles after 30min

@xichtwitt No cash payment. I'll be sure to report as soon as I learn of any service station offering cash electricity payment!

The contactless price appears after you plug in, it's also the same as listed on their website and in their app. No extra for ad-hoc

@ffaebi Most of the older Agrola stations like this one were only 150kW to be shared between 2 cars

The new ones are usually between 200 and 300kW

Max power probably dependent on the buffer batteries not being depleted

Now it's been made clear that you don't pay extra parking for DC, while you do for AC. The fee is built into the DC price

Still a crazy price, 0.80CHF/kWh + 1.50CHF/h

AC is 0.55CHF/kWh, not bad

@electricfelix @alpitronic From what I see in 🇨🇭, the economics seem to work out

- Overcharge roaming partners
- Overcharge fleet customers
- For people who only charge outside home a few times a year, price doesn't matter too much. Reliability does
- Not much wear and tear as frequent users go elsewhere

Gas station/convenience store but just 50kW max, only delivered 31kW

Tight spaces, no paint, squeeze next to unaware customer

Nice look! I assume it's just a generic skin you can purchase off the shelf, but it really stands out when all other HYC_50 in the country are just a flat color with the CPO logo

Has nobody ever visited the Arbon Energie fast charger?

It's been open for almost a year but I was never able to find any picture or feedback online

Could it be 🚨 ILLEGAL 🚨 to wait for your turn or move your car after charging?

It's rare in Switzerland to pay by parking space number rather than plate number these days, but it's the case here and means that moving your car would reset the free period and skip paying 🤔

Something else you can just about make out in the picture: 3 of the chargers are between the ticket gate and turn around loop, so if one of those chargers free up, you can't just drive around to them, you then need to drive backwards into the entrance ramp. Good luck!

Stupid setup at Baden train station

Only 2 of 6 chargers have designated charging spaces, and even that is not being respected

If you manage to plug in, you get punished with an ad-hoc only experience and a 2.16CHF start fee to make sure you never come again

Then 0.44CHF/kWh

Good news, Electra Wädenswil seems to be getting a roof!

Bad news, this causes a lot of downtime. Shell is able to install roofs in a few days, what is taking so long here? 🤔
