George Gascón, Chesa Boudin & Pam Price came into office & immediately dictated that prosecutors weren’t allowed to prosecute certain crimes, allege most proveable enhancements & allegations or simply just do their job. If you disagreed, you were labeled a racist or right winger, harassed and retaliated against. The victims and their families were just ignored & abandoned. Crime skyrocketed. Only the most radical can really believe this is a good idea. These DA’s and their policies have just made us less safe. It’s a fact.

You can be a caring & empathetic DA but still understand that you have a job to do. The DA’s number one job is public safety. The system can always be better. It can always improve. But just not doing your job as the DA is not the answer. It’s not. Just telling victims because things were unfair in the past we are not going to fully charge your son or daughter’s killer to make things more fair now is plain unjust. It’s unfair, unsafe, and not right.

Although we can help, it’s not the exclusive job of the DA to fix social issues. Gascón is lying to all of you. It’s the job of the DA to protect the public by prosecuting crime and making sure bad people aren’t allowed to victimize and hurt good people. To get justice & hold accountable. And then to rehabilitate if we can. This isn’t a Democrat or Republican idea. It’s a human one. We all deserve public safety. The DA’s job is to ensure we all get it.

Isreal recently occupied all of Gaza, but willing gave control back and removed military forces in 2005. That does not seem genocidal to me.
