A message addressed to President Donald Trump and his administration:
Before considering the deportation of Haitian nationals, many of whom never requested to come to the United States under the Biden administration , it is essential to take into account the current state of chaos in Haiti.
This turmoil, fueled over the years with the complicity of various international actors, including past Democratic governments, has plunged the country into extreme instability, where human life is no longer protected.
Haitians are deeply attached to their homeland. They long to live there with dignity, peace, and safety. But that will only be possible if serious efforts are made to restore order and support a stable transition.
We respectfully and firmly urge that any return policy takes this reality into consideration. With a minimum level of security, Haitians will return home with honor, hope, and determination.

Joseph Michel Martelly, former President of Haiti, must no longer be allowed to move freely or enjoy political protection while the Haitian people continue to suffer the devastating consequences of his actions. His alleged involvement in drug trafficking, terror financing, and logistical support to armed gangs is no longer speculation—it is a well-documented reality for anyone closely following Haiti’s collapse.
Martelly was never merely a political figure. He became a central pillar of a criminal system that bled Haiti dry, corrupted its institutions, armed violent groups, and plunged millions into fear, poverty, and forced migration.
We therefore formally call on U.S. Immigration authorities and the DEA to detain Joseph Michel Martelly immediately while on U.S. soil, and to transfer him to Haitian custody under CECOT (the Counter-Terrorism Task Force), so he may face justice and serve the sentences he rightfully owes for all he has inflicted on the Haitian people.
No true democracy can allow the architects of destruction to walk free.
Enough is enough. Impunity must end.
