@PeteSmith1983 Tells you everything you need to know about him. Came for the money if that was the case. Performances kinda proved that too on the pitch
@andyp262 Does that bus stop service area still work? Surely it’s part of the traffic management plan too? I agree it needs a covered area if it can’t be changed. Is there any land left that the club can purchase and use?
@Nijinsky007 No. He basically gave her and her brother the bookies. She had a portacabin to work from, but saw the internet was the best place rather than shops. She got in first, the rest is history . If or when America goes boom, that’ll be it for her. Sell up and gone
@DaleVince It stems from many years of bad decisions that many other governments made. Labour and Conservative. Both play each off, but they just make the hole deeper. No strategy, no future planning. Just it’ll all work out. Now look at the mess the country’s in.
@BladeoftheS Norway chose to make everyone pay a % of their salary into a fund, which was made from the oil, which had been invested so every person will take a guaranteed share of it for life!! This is what I want the uk to do.
@LizKershawDJ There’s no jobs for life in the public sector, trust me I know it personally. Plus don’t you have a “civil service” pension via the bbc? Surely that’s pretty much platinum standard and protected
@pcs_union It’s a mess.
Whilst at it NHS BSA needs to sort it’s mess out with that pension. I’m still waiting on a password reset that I’ve chased and called about but told it’s been passed to a team, but I still have to wait 20 days for that response? It’s terrible service
@GraemeBailey What will happen if Lankshear gets injured for a long period? Boro are the best side I’ve seen at Stoke in a good while. Stoke are getting closer to them, but not there yet, certainly lack quality in areas. Typical Stoke frailties cost us
@LastBlairite@FootballManager It’s why I stopped playing. It lost its appeal and fun. Your spending days trying to get things set up and working, then your planning transfers or something rose like improvements to the staff etc. Keep it simple and fun
@RacingMikey96 It’s that what drove people away. They’re rigged beyond belief and plus add in racing from Italy, India, and for knows what other countries. Put on the uk racing, the dogs, and the best of international racing. Don’t need cartoon racing or dogs.
@trainfanmatt 2/2 look at many other nations whose public transport works perfectly well and is completely aligned to one another, plus much has spent doing so and modernising it! It’s not expensive either but people bought into it! UK is light years behind in that regard
@trainfanmatt Therein lies the problem. Lack of investment, lack of stock that’s fit for purpose, lack of staffing and infrastructure. 40 years ago, in fact longer than that a certain woman decided to sell the Crown Jewels off, giving future generations the problems 1/2
@ShaneeScFc It’s the bet365 plan. Break the us and be there first, not states are opening it up off course (if California opens up that’ll be the end of it money wise, they’ll be massive) make billions and then bring the best us talent over whist ensuring scfc has a wealthy future
@RussellDutton Financially the uk is a mess! No person or government can sort it. It’ll take decades to do so. We need some radical changes and reform to do so. Or we have to be honest and tell the real truth and say it’s this or nothing
@RussellDutton Government is bankrupt anyway. Many years ago a certain prime minister decided to sell the Crown Jewels. The oil fields were sold and decommissioned, we buy most of our gas and oil from neighbours like Norway (who coincidentally have invested it to better the nation and country)
@ItsLaurenFord When sky started bidding ridiculous sums to get the events. Players/agents push up the salaries and bonuses, clubs put up the cost of food and entrance fees (not that it matters in the premier league). Tv ruined sport.
@JonnyPotter87 I was too young to realise this in the 80s and 90s, but in the light, it’s pretty damn similar. Lou being the one bright spot in that period. But history is really repeating itself with Stoke
@JonnyPotter87 What is needed is a person to help the owner day to day. Changing managers hasn’t resolved it. The mess is a reflection of the state of the club and how it works behind the scenes, which then shows up twice a week. Fans have been loyal, fans need answers
