Nor an offence for which they should be penalised.
But a misfortune, the cost of which should be shared by the community.”
I am terrified of @kimleadbeater's #AssistedDyingBill. Mum has Alzheimer's, Dad died in pain from shoddy cancer treatment but I do not trust a system that put unauthorised Do Not Resuscitate orders on people with learning disabilities during Covid to protect my daughter's life 🧵
What (as usual) this article from @ObserverUK doesn’t mention is the thousands of young people with learning disabilities who can’t access their own money locked up in CTF because of their “capacity”.

@jet2tweets Excitement of having a holiday booking confirmed obliterated by half truths and wrong information and we haven’t even left the country yet! Always considered you guys the best. What happened?!
@CPMumma79 I gave up. It was all too much. Transitional provisions should have applied but it started to feel they wanted my soul! Plus- they were insistent I attend interviews which I couldn’t get off work!
@CPMumma79 We are going through this now. Did the online stuff easy enough but now I’ve been told I’ve got to attend an appointment at a job centre. I have a job and disabled twins- there s no way I can fit that in!
