@thesigmamindset Don’t know what sigma mindset is, but it must be fairly stupid if this qualifies as life advice. The Even people with poor table manners know that you lick the wide part of the knife not the thin end.

I keep reading us protestants are immigrants but we're not, my ancestors just moved from one part of the country to another.
Henry VIII became King of Ireland in 1541, the country was fully under English control.
It was still under English rule when my ancestors moved here in the 17th Century. They did not emigrate, they just moved the same way someone from Scotland could move to England or Wales today without being considered an immigrant.
When the Republic of Ireland was formed the people of Northern Ireland chose to remain part of the United Kingdom.
Calling all Americans, please learn the difference between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. They encompass genetically and culturally distinct peoples who do not like to be lumped together, just look at 'The Troubles' for proof of that.

@valormental This is impossible. A sentence begins with a Capital letter and has a full stop, question mark et al at the end.
Sentences therefore are only possible in writing. In parlance, any delay or pause by an inarticulate speaker is taken by the verbally fluent as a cry to be rescued.
