50-years-ago today Gurdip Singh Chaddar was murdered in Southall (West London, UK). The 18-year-old was stabbed in an unprovoked racist attack. The tragedy saw Sikh communities respond by organising against a fascist threat.

On this day 40-years ago, Sant (Saint) Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale obtained Shaheedi (martyrdom) in the #BattleOfAmritsar.
