The current set up of shutting down servers after two years and requiring players to unlock the same content in annual releases is highly repetitive.
The player base would likely be much more receptive to microtransactions if the game adopted a five to ten year lifecycle, supported by continuous content drops for modes like MyFaction, Ringside Pass, and the Island chapters.
