To put this in more reassuring terms, senior Anthropic staff think the chance AI kills all humans within the next decade is approximately the chance the New York Jets make the playoffs
One post about the hypothesis linking EMF and electrical substation impact on #49ers injuries as I have been asked about this a lot the past few days (and I am all for more investigation / studies that examine the impact of any factor on injury risk):
1. The 49ers have practiced next to the substation I believe since 1988, and their injury issues have not been consistently present since then
2. In 2023, the 49ers had a tremendously healthy season in which they had one of the lowest adjusted game lost rankings in the league
3. There isn't any high-quality evidence that demonstrates a link between low levels of EMF and soft tissue injury risk in athletes clinically
4. There are multiple other stadiums / practice facilities next to electrical sub-stations throughout the country where there has not been the same increased injury incidence
5. The increased injury incidence of the 49ers relative to other teams needs to be broken down into traumatic injuries from contact (i.e. ankle fractures) versus non-contact injuries
6. Prior injury history, long distance travel, schedule density, and change in workload have all been shown to be associated with injury

So let me get this straight
A guy wants to get paid his worth. His team refused to trade him. His team stops negotiating with him. He tries to get them to sit down so they can fix it. Nothing comes from it. They ice him out. He demands a trade. They let him shop around. Several teams willing to pay him 28-32m per year. So clearly he was right about his value.
After months of icing him out they finally come back to the negotiating table. And he’s the diva? Because he felt some type of way about how they went about it? .. nah lol that was BS
With the season on the line and backs against the wall, the team found a way to complete the comeback and punch a ticket to #SBLVIII.
Next up, the Super Bowl on CBS.

In the second half tonight, the @49ers' Brock Purdy:
- threw for 150+ yards
- rushed for 45+ yards
- completed 80% of his passes
- averaged 10.0+ yards per rush
- had 0 turnovers
No other NFL QB in the last 30 years has done all of that in a single half (reg or post).
Navigating "corporate speak" isn't easy.
Here's a helpful guide I put together:
"Let me check with my team" = No
"Possibly" = No
"On my roadmap" = Not happening
"This will be done in Q4" = This will be done in Q2 next year
"Disagree and commit" = I hate you
"Per my last email" = Try reading, for once in your life
"Challenging landscape" = We're going out of business, quickly
"Digital transformation" = We're going out of business, slowly
"Let's circle back" = We'll never speak of this again
"Take it offline" = We'll never speak of this again
"30,000 foot view" = I don't know what I'm saying
"Low hanging fruit" = Easy promotion
"Open up the kimono" = HR violation
"We use AI" = We don't use AI
"We use machine learning" = We don't use machine learning
"All hands on deck" = Let's actually try for once, please
