I hope Leighton Flowers doesn’t mind me sharing this, but he was doing a celebratory livestream for reaching 100k YouTube subscribers when he got the news of Voddie’s passing. You can see his heart break before uttering a tearful prayer and ending the stream.

I choked up watching this, and walked away convicted that I should strive to have such a loving heart as he does.

Actually, it’s because we care about lost souls that we don’t want people misled to believe that it’s not their responsibility to repent and believe, which is the implication of Chadd’s message to Joe. (ie only if God unilaterally elected and irresistibly called you can you come, and you certainly will if He does)

I’m not sure what you’re worried about given the fact that on Calvinism, nothing we say is going to change the predetermination of Joe or any other elect/reprobate individual who may hear our warnings. However, if you and Chadd are in error, it may very well hinder Joe’s conversion. We care about him and his listeners enough to say so.

She would speak in tongues for the congregation (nothing flashy or yelling) and then she would immediately interpret into Spanish to edify the church. Exactly how 1 Cor 14 teaches. She had the gift of interpretation too
