@KLM_UK It's been 6 months since we submitted a serious complaint and we still haven't heard from you. I know you are busy - but I would like someone to look at our claim. We had the worst flight experience ever with you and it's distressing having this go on for so long.
@ReadingCouncil Hi, we had our garden waste collected today, however, our green bag is now missing. Normally it gets put inside our green bin. Either it's blown away because it wasn't secured or someone has stolen it. I don't really want to pay for a replacement.
@ReadingCouncil when should we be expecting the £150 from the council? We have a direct debit set up for council tax and haven’t received anything yet.
@KLM It's been over two weeks since we submitted a claim and a complaint on your website. We had a horrendous trip with you and I'm really upset no one has been in contact with us yet.
I started out thinking this blog would be about what makes something cute and what effects that has on us, but there turned out to be a hidden, sad aspect to it that surprised me.

Stroke research can improve the lives of stroke survivors and their families. Already our researchers have helped to:
▪️ Recognise stroke as a medical emergency.
▪️ Find new and improved treatments.
▪️ Identify who is at most risk.

When stroke strikes, every second counts. Watch this video of stroke survivor Annabel and researcher Dr Grant Mair to see how the CT clock tool could transform the lives of stroke survivors and help more stroke patients get emergency treatments.
My team worked incredibly hard on this appeal, so it's especially lovely to see it out in the world. Annabel and Grant were really great to work with too. Thank you for sharing your story and your research! Please give it a watch 👀

More women are delaying having children than ever before 🤰🚫
Half of women aged 30 don’t have children for the first time since records began.

Playing #Wordle and struggling to find the right word? That is a daily experience for people with #Aphasia, a complex language and communication disorder. Around a third of people who have a stroke will experience aphasia. Find out more: https://t.co/vYtBoEBb6S
@ReadingCouncil @rva_news Are there plans to open a walk-in centre in Reading? Broad street won’t take walk-ins unless you have a weakened immune system.
It's been a pleasure working on another wonderful Christmas Appeal for @TheStrokeAssoc. Sarah Jay was a joy to work with and embodies that there is #HopeAfterStroke. Support us this #GivingTuesday and help even more stroke survivors find hope this Christmas.
For decades Sarah Jay was an accomplished musician and vocal coach. Then she had a stroke.
It was only with the support of a Stroke Support Coordinator that Sarah Jay rediscovered her joy for music.

I made a how-to guide on buying good gifts!
It's not a list of suggestions for what to buy - instead, it's advice on how to choose a gift, based on the research about what kinds of gifts people like to get.
