NAW is on a team friendly contract and we brought him in to be a solid role player. Fans upset he couldn’t be a star in the playoffs when that was not the initial reason he was brought to this team.
🚨 RUMOR: Per sources, the Pelicans have called the Atlanta #Hawks about acquiring the No. 8 pick 👀
Trey Murphy would reportedly be the centerpiece coming back to Atlanta.
Could you imagine Trey Murphy on this Hawks roster? Would you like to see him in the A? 🦅🔥
He’s 6’10. Has the ability to shoot and defend. Plus he was a great fit with Trae. It’s still early but I think they saw him being someone who could average 18-20 ppg eventually, while being a great defender. That being said I always wanted Sarr over him.
Hawk fans really are freaking out over a video of a man hitting shots during shoot around lmao. Remember when Dwight Howard was hitting 3s during the offseason?
@CyberTruckMars That’s good on you for preferring him, but he wasn’t viewed as a better prospect than OO and was taken 12th compared to OO at 6. Just like how castle is clearly better than zach, but was never considered a 1st overall pick.
I like the idea of moving him for the possibility of acquiring a quality big or moving up in the draft to grab someone the front office is all in with.
The Atlanta Hawks are expected to explore the trade market for Jonathan Kuminga, per @MikeAScotto
“The Hawks have conducted their due diligence and gauged Kuminga’s value on the trade market ahead of the draft, league sources told HoopsHype. With that said, the 23-year-old forward returning to the Hawks next season remains a real possibility.

@BuddyGrizzard@jordan23atl@ATLHawks The only logical one you can argue you hear is Trae over Luka. Everyone else was considered a good pick at the time. AJ was a solid player he just didn’t love the game.
