🚨Heartbreaking Viral Video: Helpless Son Cries for His Injured Mother But Siddharthnagar DM Keeps Scrolling Reels
A shocking video from the District Magistrate’s office in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh is spreading rapidly on social media.
A distressed citizen went to the DM office pleading for help. His elderly mother was brutally attacked by monkeys in their village, suffering severe head injuries that needed multiple stitches. He had already filed written complaints with the District Forest Officer (DFO), but no action was taken.
Instead of listening with empathy, the DM was seen continuously scrolling on his phone, completely ignoring the man’s painful appeal — no eye contact, no response, no assurance.
This video has triggered massive public anger, with people calling it a clear example of administrative apathy.
Where should common citizens go when those in power don’t even listen?
I don't understand why so many people want US, UK, Canadian, or German citizenship.

Today, communities in Canada and around the world mark Diwali, the Festival of Lights – a celebration of the triumph of light over darkness and of good over evil.
Prime Minister Carney extends his warmest wishes to all those celebrating #Diwali: https://t.co/0Psg0K0zRb
“1 John 1:5, ‘God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.’ Diwali centralizes on light over darkness. If we claim fellowship with God, we must live lives that reflect His light — lives of truth, love, and righteousness. This Diwali, let us take on God’s nature and His light!”

#UPDATE
Spouses of Intl students other than Masters/PhD and specialised programs in medicine and law - will no longer be eligible for #SOWP Spouse open work permits.
This will be implemented in coming week & not apply to current study permit holders in Canada and their spouses.
Starting January 1, 2024, the cost-of-living financial requirement for study permit applicants will be raised to ensure that international students are better prepared for life in Canada. This threshold will be adjusted each year, similarly to other immigration programs. Learn more: https://t.co/7uom1rgmYI
For 2024, a single applicant will need to show they have $20,635 in addition to their first year of tuition and travel costs. This change will apply to new study permit applications received on or after January 1, 2024.
In addition, Minister Miller has provided an update on three temporary policies that were set to expire at the end of 2023, including the following:
· International students already in Canada, as well as applicants who have already submitted an application for a study permit as of December 7, 2023, will be able to work off-campus for more than 20 hours per week until April 30, 2024.
· The measure that has allowed international students to count time spent studying online towards the length of a future post-graduation work permit, as long as it constitutes less than 50% of the program of study, will continue to be in place for students who begin a study program before September 1, 2024.
· A temporary policy was introduced on three occasions to provide an additional 18-month work permit to post-graduation work permit holders as their initial work permit was expiring. Foreign nationals with a post-graduation work permit expiring up to December 31, 2023, remain eligible to apply. However, this temporary policy will not be extended further.
