We reduced the City's contingent liability by R5 billion in the last quarter. In other news, we have now paid R2.5 billion towards the historic Eskom debt and have remained fully compliant with the payment agreement.
That's how you fix a broken city. Aggressively steady.

Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba has warned women in leadership positions to be cautious about allowing their younger romantic partners, commonly referred to as "Ben 10s", to influence their personal lives and leadership decisions.
Speaking during the official handover of a newly built house to the family of conjoined twins in Lulekani on Wednesday, Ramathuba said the downfall of many women in leadership positions is often linked to the influence of their "Ben 10" partners.
She urged women leaders to remain focused on their responsibilities and not allow personal relationships to interfere with their decision-making or public duties.

@VusiThembekwayo True. At times youโll think about giving up but, there is just that fine little voice in you saying โwe are here to change the world, not to become part of employees.โ
Hello guys we got the reply from @Stellarated department about R500m Spaza Fund PAIA Application .
We made an application to access the list of beneficiaries for the 500 million she got last year to fund the spaza shops . The Small Business Dept responded that they don't have the list as the Fund is administered by NEF. We are in the process of filing another application with NEF. The response from NEF shall determine our next course of action. Credits:@HrhMaNtshingila โค๏ธ.
@De_Eessh@ValidT64063@eNCA Then there is no foreigner who is legally allowed to open a business if they donโt have a threshold of >=R5 000 000 in South Africa.
Operating a business with initial capital investment of >R5 millions automatically that business needs to be registered and file for taxes
Nigeria is demanding compensation from South Africa for its nationals who fled the country. It claims many were forced to abandon businesses, homes and other property.
