Been using Patina for past couple weeks. Truly a birds eye view of my life and the people I interact with. I attribute the private-by-design approach to me being willing to give access to everything. Can't wait to see how it evolves. Thanks for making this Gabe.
I've spent the last few months building Patina: a personal intelligence workspace that lives on your Mac.
It reads your iMessages, calendar, email and more. Knows your goals and helps you keep up with your people. All stored locally.

Got into @FounderUni by @jason. The community as an accountability partner has been great to push @hellocuro along. Lots of progress to be made in the 2 months left.
@LukeW I imagine this would be dependent on the audience? Where AI would be good enough to produce a level of quality that meets (maybe slightly exceeds) their expectations. But for other audiences, the guiding hand of a designer makes all the difference.
At big companies I was designing for users but also leadership with their own personal POVs. That's what a product really is. A codebase built on a bunch of different people's POVs. It's never just the user's. That's a myth.
First time being a bit sad about an AI usecase: Music.
I just randomly discovered IngaRose and Solpulse music. They're so good. I wanted to learn more about the artist then realised they're AI generated. Felt a little piece of the human connection wither away.
Curo iOS app is live.
People use social media as their go-to source for everything (workouts, recipes, places to go, etc). The freshness and diversity of content cannot be matched, but the gap between finding something great and actually making use of it is where most friction lies.
Curo closes that gap.
Share a workout, recipe or restaurant post from Instagram / TikTok and we make it immediately actionable. Workouts become guided. Recipes meet your dietary needs. Restaurants are mapped and researched. No jumping between apps. No manual work.
Our goal is to help remove friction between being inspired and living the life you're inspired to.

@openhome had a dope pitch for their agentic home assistant. I believe theyβll have a much better product compared to existing home assistants. Canβt wait to try it.
Designers' underrated skill in the ai code generation world is pattern matching. Most of us don't know how to write it. But reading what seems like gibberish and matching the patterns over time sets us up to be a lot more deadly.
