@2StylishValdes@ByClaytonDavis Clayton has gotten a lot of predictions wrong, you can’t go off of just that and that video is talking about box office which doesn’t equal awards, there’s just other movies that the industry will love more so there’s no space for that movie
@2StylishValdes@ByClaytonDavis it needed good reviews to stand up since it came out so early in the year, nobody is talking about it anymore, it’s moment has came and gone also only so many films can get in with the box office narrative and others have it,nothing about that movie is anywhere near awards worthy
@2StylishValdes@ByClaytonDavis but what exactly is the films package to get into picture? It’s not getting screenplay or director, Jafar isn’t getting in best actor is too crowded, it’s just got too weak a package
@2StylishValdes@ByClaytonDavis It does. Cause for it to get back into the conversion it needs to be nominated at critics groups, the critics choice and the golden globes, which are all nominated by critics and journalists
@mikael_trashton@jasonosia I think the reviews are too bad for it, I feel like it would’ve had to come out later like Bohemian Rhapsody to have a chance
@2StylishValdes@ByClaytonDavis If Micheal came out at this time of the year or a bit later it would get In but i think it’s done now, makeup is its only chance
@_neonheart_ It all depends on if they sell the movie to a British distributor or not, they did that with Tony so that’s why it came out when it did but A24 rarely release films themselves here and that’s what they’re doing with Primetime so that’s why it’s late
@WaashyV2 I’m guessing since tickets were sold to the public for premiere screening (although expensive) the members of the public who are attending don’t seem to be under embargo but critics are until next week
@rob_cooks96@netflix Netflix don’t have distribution outside of the us and Canada, but it is getting a release here on November 6th by another distributor I don’t know if it’ll be limited or not
@IvyAscent A24 sell their films off to other distributors for worldwide releases so if nobody has picked up for your country (like mine) then probs not for a little bit
@JackMelloJake@helpmepls200@cineworld The flashback scene later in the movie, the ice cream man video that is seen on the phone and that the kids see and the end credits are all ai
