@MadssT2023@RimJutherford69@FriedgeHNIC The rule changed a few years back. Used to be that you needed a time out to challenge and if you lost the challenge, you lost your timeout.
@BuresFlow@FriedgeHNIC They announced no goal for goalie interference... and that's a REAL stretch for goalie interference. If the goal was disallowed for the whistle blowing, they shouldn't have been allowed to challenge.
@AdamZHerman And before someone says "Yeah, but he's showing he's a great playoff guy!", he had 15 points (9 goals) in his previous 40 playoff games.
He's a decent player that happens to be having a career run right now. Let's not pretend it's more than that.
@AdamZHerman He's having a really good playoffs but takes like this completely ignore that his production with Vegas over the last five years hasn't been very good (he had 22 points in 58 games this year) and his play the last month and a half is an anomaly in his eight year career.
@RadioFreeTom It's like everyone forgets that Trump publicly bashed John McCain for getting captured in Vietnam, saying he "Liked people that weren't captured".
Not really hard to believe that someone who says that would also believe US troops that get killed are losers.
@KeithOlbermann Howden's production since leaving NY hasn't been any better for three years, including lackluster play all season with Vegas. He's hot in the playoffs, no question, but it's an anomaly in the career of a 28 year old at this point.
@NotWoofers That Japanese theory of victory was that the US had no appetite for war and if they delivered a bad enough blow at Pearl we'd just slink back to our homeland and waive the white flag.
It was a comically bad strategy... and a lot of Japanese knew it before the war started.
@stribe39@Osinttechnical The fact that people can't comprehend the difference between working with our NATO allies and openly supplying weapons to a nation in direct conflict with Russia is pretty good display of how dumb people have become.
@stribe39@Osinttechnical Not even close. They championed Sweden and Norway joining NATO, which is something Russia was super pissed about and forward deployed significant numbers of US forces closer to the Russian border.
They were just cautious about what weapons they openly supplied to Ukraine.
@thousand_tim@YarrowGrace Next time you hear Republicans talk about "cutting regulations", what they're really talking about is getting rid of the regulations/programs that protect us from shit like this.
The Trump administration is directly responsible for this due to their cuts.
@Death1nFire@NotWoofers Yeah, China would probably be able to overwhelm those points if they wanted to, but they'd likely strike at undefended targets first since there will still be plenty of valuable targets with limited protection.
@Death1nFire@NotWoofers You're missing the point that it's not about defending every possible target in Japan (or any nation that might be attacked) but rather being able to defend a limited number of critical assets for a limited period when a conflict breaks out.
@Romans12Ten@sentdefender ...you realize Trump wants a 50% increase in military spending, right?
You're also likely a Russia bot account, so it's not really "our" debt.
@NicksonSse9air@clashreport Golf courses are kept in "pristine condition" (most course are in fact not in pristine condition most of the time) for playability. No real reason to keep our parks in such condition.
Also, it's extremely expensive to keep golf courses in good condition at all times.
@manniefabian It's absolutely crazy that, after what we've seen in Ukraine the past few years, any nation would be caught off guard by the use of FPV strike drones.
Equally crazy that there appears to be little effort in the west to develop cheap, effective countermeasures.
@vzmercogliano He's having a good playoffs but probably should point out that this is an anomaly for him. He had 22 points in 58 games in the regular season and 15 points in 40 playoff games before this year.
His production never really improved after leaving NY until a month and a half ago.
