Recently went on a cruise. Six Corona beers … $60 ($27 for 24 on land). I’ve never had a Hawkstone but I would wager it’s better than Corona. It is all about the experience (and I imagine the quality of the beer). I mean you can practically see it being made on the show. You know which field it comes from. If anything, if you get your hands on one in a bottle, why would you drink it? It should sit on your mantle just quietly holding its value like bitcoin :)

I originally designed this to replace a AAA or AA battery so that you can 'find' anything powered by those batteries. It was eventually intended to be inserted into an 'empty' battery case. The 12V is stepped down to 3.3V for the BLE chip, and the device provides a regulated 1.2V output to mimic the behavior of a standard battery.

One of my main concerns has been that I haven’t ever field dressed and processed one before. I can’t imagine it is much different than a deer, but I have heard / read that you have to take extra precautions to avoid potentially transmittable diseases etc. Up until now they seemed to just be elsewhere on our property. But now that they are coming everyday to one of our food plots, it is time to Johnny-o them. But harvesting the back straps before dropping them off seems like a W.

I hunt deer, turkey, and duck. I process everything myself. I have a number of wild hogs on my hunt property that I have been thinking about harvesting but I have always thought it was difficult to process a wild hog due to the potential diseases. I had not thought about just taking the back straps. Do you field dress it at all or just take the back straps?
