@wholemars Fully agrees Omar. But Switzerland 🇨🇭 is not part of the EU and needs its own application by Tesla. The Swiss agency ASTRA has publicly stated that they’d be ready and happy to review an application for FSD Supervised. It‘s Teslas move… but for some reason nothing happens.

Why the hell are European countries and regulators such incredibly poor cognitive low-performers (excluding the countries marked in green on the map — you guys are so awesome)? It should be an absolute no-brainer to allow FSD Supervised on public roads when you look at the statistics! It’s so much safer than human drivers and never gets distracted.

To me, this means one thing: The non-green countries don’t give a damn about the safety of their citizens and are pursuing other interests — for which they should all be fired immediately.

But in the specific case of Switzerland🇨🇭 — and here I’m addressing you, @Tesla , @teslaeurope and @elonmusk — the Swiss agency ASTRA has publicly stated that they’d be ready and happy to review an application for FSD Supervised. But YOU haven’t submitted an application yet; they’re waiting for YOU. What on earth are you waiting for? To me, this sounds like preaching water and selling wine.

Das ASTRA #uvek hat mehrfach bestätigt: Die regulatorische Tür für #FSD in der Schweiz ist offen, Bern prüft sofort bei Gesuchseingang. Doch von @Tesla liegt noch kein Antrag vor! @TeslaEurope @elonmusk: Hört auf, auf Brüssel zu warten – reicht das Gesuch in Bern ein 🇨🇭

Ich hatte kürzlich einen Tesla Ranger bei mir. Er meinte Tesla hätte einen Antrag bei ASTRA versucht, muss aber eine Odyssee à la „Passierschein A38“ durchgemacht haben. Sie haben aufgegeben und hoffen nun auf die europaweite Freigabe. Obs stimmt? Keine Ahnung, aber tönt plausibel.

@iamtobi Ich habe eine ganz radikale Idee: Wie wäre es die EU Vorschriften anzupassen? Liebe EU, das müsst ihr sowieso demnänchst machen, die technische Revolution ist eingeleitet, wieso nicht sofort damit beginnen?
