been testing opus 5 the last two days (that's half my 20x max). not enough to be sure, but this is what i have so far:

- on effort, medium is not the smarter setting people say it is. i still default to max, and it's still faster than sol.

- triggers in skills and CLAUDE.md fire more readily now, and more accurately. might be why /doctor now comes back with nothing but cleanup suggestions.

- the quota lasts longer than i expected. probably a fable hangover.

- in chat the tone is stiff. 4.6 was my sweet spot, 4.7 is where the stiffness started, and each one since has been a bit more. maybe they shifted the opus training to make agent coding more reliable.

- on small one off tasks there's a trace of early fable. not much, but sometimes better than current fable. looks smart, though sometimes you can't tell whether this guy is reliable.

- it's level with sol now. no better on full tasks either. 4.8 used to get flattened by 5.6 sol. that's stopped.

역시 원맨 라이브는 항상 많은 감정을 남기네요
유즈 생일 당일에, 그리고 올해는 같은 네키루의 멤버로서! 함께 축하할 수 있어서 더욱 기뻤습니다
유즈를 사랑하시는 분들로 가득한 공간에서, 유즈가 사랑하는 것들로 가득 채우고... 유즈에게 사랑을 가득 전할 수 있어서 행복했어요

그리고, 생탄 라이브인 만큼 평소 네키루 라이브에서는 볼 수 없었던 특별한 스테이지들도 많았는데요!
유즈의 솔로곡 「이 밤을 넘어」 피로와 함께 네 명이서는 최초로 선보이는 커버곡들까지 ♪
게다가 온전히 우리들의 목소리로만 노래하는 커버곡은 처음이었어서, 개인적으로 더욱 의미 깊었던 경험~ 성장하고 있는 거겠지!

조금 더 감상을 남겨보자면...
연습할 때 종종 「Lily」를 네키루로서 유즈와 함께 부르고 있다는 자각이 들 때마다, 참 신기하고 어딘가 미묘한 기분이었는데요
그 때만해도 정말 아무도 몰랐을텐데...
인연이란 예상할 수 없어서 더 소중한 것이네,라는 생각을 했답니다
여름밤에 가장 잘 어울린다고 생각하는 「waving」도 정말 좋아하는 곡이기 때문에! 함께 노래할 수 있어서 행복했어요
모든 것이 유즈 덕분이야 고마워 𖦹

작년부터 시작된 현체제 네키루의 첫 생탄 주자라 부담도 많았을테고, 준비 기간 또한 부족했는데도 역시나 멋지게 해냈네~

@thsottiaux What I love about GPT-5.6 is how well it keeps up when I think out loud. I can give it messy voice notes, change my mind halfway through, switch between Chinese, Japanese, and English, and still get a clear, accurate result without having to start over.

It’s wild how differently Codex and Claude Code feel.

Codex is a Stanford engineer: you give it the shape of an idea and it comes back in 5 minutes with a working prototype but with code that feels like it was written 5 red bulls deep at 4 am.

Claude Code is spiritually Eastern European: demands an annoying amount of clarification, goes on vacation for a couple of months, but then delivers something elegant enough to make Knuth cry.
