Through the Broad Based Talent Initiative, CHED conducted maskani visits with the Ng'ombeni Blu Rangers group. Our discussions centered on the critical challenges facing youth in Ng'ombeni that contribute to juvenile gang involvement.

CHED held an inception meeting to launch their BROAD BASED TALENT INITIATIVE program. This initiative, funded by the European Union through We World Kenya under the Kujenga Amani project, aims to reduce youth insecurity by fostering a supportive environment that promotes
the KECOSCE Kenya Coastal Region Accelerator Coordinator from Somo Africa, youth leaders, and the We World consultant, for their presence and support of our initiative.
Through this program, CHED aims to conduct Maskani visits for sensitization, talent identification,
Ched participated in a community policy meeting held at Ng'ombeni Chief's Office. The primary focus of the meeting was to address security concerns within the Ng'ombeni area. Attendees included religious leaders, village elders, @KECOSCE,CHED, and community policy members.
The agenda was to analyze challenges caused the umbrella into downfall, available chances to bring back and link up groups to government opportunities. Other leaders available were ng'ombeni village admin and youth fund officer from national government.
Ched in collaboration with kecosce organized a meeting with table banking leaders at denyenye- mwembe mdondoro. The meeting was aim to re - assess and bring back the umbrella of kumekucha ng'ombeni CBO under its members who were representative from VSLAs in ng'ombeni location.
The CHED Foundation, in collaboration with Kecosce, hosted a community outreach forum in Maweni-Waa. The primary goal of the forum was to raise awareness about SGBV and security issues in the Waa area.
As we celebrate the International Peace Day, Mwarp invited the Kwale Community of Practice members to a discussion on the what is the Public Benefit Organization Act , the benefits, Self Regulatory Forum and
and also promised to expedite their capacitation in the required skills to handle civil cases and also report any person involved in or abetting criminal offences.
On 17th Sept 2024, Ched foundation joined other CBO's under the County Engagement Forum in conducting a community policing sensitization and elections at Ng'ombeni hall. Other attendees included County govt representative and National govt members drawn from the
Department of National Police Service, National Counter Terrorism Center and Regional Administration. They urged the community to support the elected members in conducting their mandate seamlessly. They also promised to work closely with the elected community police
