Many years back I spent a magical week on a small island on a remote Northern Ontario lake with a celebrated Canadian playwright. He shared with me his process of creativity.
Rise early and write something. Do this everyday and in a year or 2 you will have something he advised. This is the essence of the creative craft process.
One of the purposes of the summer trip to Canada was to "test the waters" on a dream I've long held. We work primarily with natural materials in traditional ways in our studio @KulurLab in Tokyo. Canada's vast landscape offers a new array of materials to explore. and perhaps stretch our subtle application of new technologies further.
