@tylerbarberis_ It is what they excel at and these are the spots in a season that a veteran manager “manages” to steal a game or two and stop the bleeding. Alby continues to say it’s just a flesh wound while his team bleeds out.
He’s managing like a rookie and hard head.
@mvpfloorservice So once again the part of the FO plan works but the key part has not and they refuse to see the reality and instead look at the analytics. And refuse to make a change.
TON still gets AB
Alonso still bats at 3 or 4
Nunez still used as high leverage.
Hard heads.
@mvpfloorservice I’m counting 4 losses since the Toronto series in Camden directly related to poor manager decisions.
And if Alonso just gets a single in a third of his opportunities with runners on this Season the Orioles are above .500.
Guys are getting on and he is getting punched out.
@Drew_Pellman Square peg round hole.
Nimitz is not high leverage.
TON can’t hit lefties.
Since the home Toronto series my count is 4 winnable games just given away by poor managing.
Teams need their mangers to steal a game here or there, help them out. Right now he is doing the opposite.
“Said the technocrat to the Plutocrat to the Autocrat and the Democrat - Let’s all go eat at the Automat!”
If I had a Time Machine I would definitely join them.
@birdlandminute I think we lost each other.
Seems they had hoped Cowser could be their everyday CF. But he didn’t play well enough.
In March no one even knew if Teveras was going to make the team. He had to earn that spot. He was signed as depth and thank goodness he was
@ThirstRoundPick The entire organization seems to like okay pretend.
Lots of square peg round hole shit going on all the time.
Nunez is not high leverage.
TON should not be on the roster. IF should not play in the OF. Most Os starters aren’t going 6 much Less 7.
It’s a long list
@birdlandminute They keep acting like he’s a high leverage guy.
He was for a couple weeks.
He is not anymore.
Like a lot of other moves this team makes: Square peg round hole.
They keep forcing TON in the lineup too.
They are really hardheaded at times.
@jfcatcher23 If we remember
It was the original alignment.
Cowser in CF. With Tavares as the 5th OF and a platoon of TON and Beavers in RF.
But Cowser couldn’t buy a hit so they had to pivot. Thank God LT has exceeded expectations.
@zachbollinger18 And sending Bassit to the mound. Not ideal.
Every 5 days is a dice roll.
Except the dice are loaded against us.
He has had some nice starts but he has also pitched so poorly thyme he wrecks the pen for a series.
