A4 informal assessment and student engagement would really show what great teachers are #hnesbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

@rachel_rapada I also do tickets for the same thing but it's mostly for embracing positive behaviors #hnesbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A3 what teachers are allowed to do is so controlled...we are no longer trusted to be professionals who love our Ss #hnesbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A3 The misconception comes with media and trends....not from dedicated teachers who love what they do #hnesbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A2 I am all for the competition! I just tell my students that everyone will get a turn and it's all about support for your friends #hnesbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

Sorry guys I am on my phone learning how this goes #hnesbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

@chelseajccps #hnesbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A2 I am all for the competition! I just tell my students that everyone will get a turn and it's all about support for your friends

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

@rachel_rapada @ErikaNorthCCPS It's actually titled the First Six Weeks of School

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

@ErikaNorthCCPS Responsive Classroom is not any one person its more of an approach to management and building community..prob the same idea

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

Responsive Classroom has a book titled "First Days of School" #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

@rachel_rapada If you liked his first three days you should look into reading about responsive classroom this summer..fantastic! #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A7 "No content standard matters to me until I have established the safe, supportive and positive classroom environment I need..." #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A6 I think this also applies to his life changing lessons, finding some way to relate a lesson to a students life #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A6 I related to what he said about interacting with Ss in a movie. We watch a lot of brainpopjr and I like to stop and interact #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

@ErikaNorthCCPS I completely agree! I enjoy being able to laugh at myself and with my Ss. I enjoy how every day can be different #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A5 Most passionate about literacy specifically writing but I like to draw on creativity and showing what we know by creating #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A4 I feel that when im bogged down in such a schedule that we dont have time for the bathroom I lose my enthusiasm #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

A4 For me, I know it's scheduling...having to rush myself and my Ss to do this thing at this time frustrates me so I know it affects #HNESbt

[Chelsea Jones @chelseajccps]

When my students are in stations or completing an independent activity I want to be "over there" with them rather than testing #HNESbt
