@scottjstephens By removing that restriction means that once they get done and back to a unit (especially longer schools) they will be able to return to deployable status sooner. Alternative: waiting to get done with school then get to a unit then have kids.
@scottjstephens Also discouraging to stay in when you can't go to PME due to pregnancy, which can allow our counterparts to get ahead by leaps and bounds. Frustrating for officers- CCC/ILE. But really career hindering for Soldiers- BLC/SLC/ALC- schools required prior to promotion.
