My PhD work at @ubcmsl being discussed by C&EN - 🔬💉🙏 thanks to @kevbuckley for steering the ship with me for a few years, and congrats to @marthouli_v for pushing the envelope (..and thanks @Cationically for pointing it out 😊)

DYK there’s currently no way to test for this damage in blood that’s been stored inside a bag without opening the bag? Researchers are working to develop Raman #spectroscopy as a method that can monitor blood inside storage bags without ever opening them: https://t.co/NkZKsmuiEn

@JDVance What a convincing way to show how completely ignorant you are.

D-Day was a moment the world collectively came together to fight evil, and everything Donald Trump stands for involves pushing the world away.

Take the names of brave and honorable men out of your racist mouth.

There's only one outcome - someone or something is sinking, and it's either the Republican party (thanks to the criminal they've knowingly installed at the helm), or it's America and its democracy.

Choose wisely in November ⌛🗳️

The country is indeed disgraced, though not because of this guilty verdict.

🧵SHORT THREAD

[Megyn Kelly @megynkelly]

Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they unleashed this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election.

[Chad Atkins, PhD @chemchad]

How do people break free of this alternative reality when the price of admission to the cult is unwavering loyalty?

When elected Republican politicians and media figures are sychopants irreversibly anchored to the Trump Titanic?

[Chad Atkins, PhD @chemchad]

Employers wouldn't accept this kind of language or 'ambiguity' in a basic job interview, but when campaigning for the highest office in the world - there are millions of people willing to bend over backwards to defend it.

And it's not just this one example.

[Chad Atkins, PhD @chemchad]

Modern political discourse in 2024 is having to pull out a dictionary to explain that a presidential candidate meant definition 2b and not 1a or 2a.

And this constant 'ambiguity' isn't seen as disqualifying?

For anyone paying attention, it's clearly a feature, not a bug.

[Scott Walker @ScottWalker]

Clearly, @realDonaldTrump was talking about a major economic disaster.
