there is a mass exodus of artists on instagram after they announced they would be prioritizing video, Content Creators™, and shopping. artists have already noticed a widespread decline in engagement on art posts for months.

there’s still a lot of changes twitter will need to make for it to be really and truly Good To Artists. namely how photo posts are set up (bad)

either way, there’s a pattern of platforms dying and the user base shuffling over to twitter. could create a bubble. could not.
