5. 종택마저 여러 차례 날리고 딸의 혼수 비용까지 잃음
6. 가족과 문중으로부터 평생 멸시와 원망을 받음
7. 그러나 그 모든 삶은 철저한 위장이었음
8. 어린 시절 할아버지가 일본 경찰에게 무릎 꿇는 모습을 보고 항일 의식 키움
9. 1908년·1911년 의병 활동에 직접 참여
10. 1921년 상하이 의용단에서 서기로 활동
11. 수십 년간 종가 재산을 만주 독립군 자금으로 보냄
12. 일본 경찰 감시를 피하기 위해 일부러 난봉꾼 행세
13. 가족에게조차 끝까지 진실을 밝히지 않음
14. 사진 한 장도 남기지 않은 채 1946년 세상을 떠남
15. 임종 직전 “마땅히 할 일을 했을 뿐”이라고만 답함
16. 사후 동지들의 증언으로 진실이 뒤늦게 밝혀짐
