@ChiemelaChimao1 The difference is that only opposition to Mbappé can be freely expressed. Supporters cannot express themselves freely, and those who believe Mao was a dictator cannot express themselves freely for fear of punishment by organs of the state. I think you know this.
A textbook display of American hypocrisy and political theatre.
Slap an American flag over Chinese-built cranes, hoping a cheap photo-op will fool the public into believing the illusion of independence.
Then the wind blows, the flags come loose, and the reality they desperately tried to conceal is exposed for everyone to see ,the Chinese ZPMC logos staring right back at them.
What an embarrassing spectacle!
You can cover a crane with a flag, but you cannot cover up incompetence, hypocrisy, or dependence on China.
No amount of patriotic theatrics can change the facts.
When reality blows away your propaganda, all that's left is the humiliation....
😂😂😂
By the way, it’s always rather awkward when China is accused of trapping Africa in debt. China is a relatively new player in the international lending arena, and Chinese loans account for a comparatively small share of Africa’s external debt. The overwhelming majority of Africa’s external debt is owed to Western lenders.
China has done so much debt deferral (post covid measures), restructuring agreements and outright debt cancellations across Africa.
We’re constantly being fed a narrative that directs attention towards China while obscuring the much larger, older and more deeply entrenched structures of external indebtedness that continue to constrain African economies.
