What is life?

Let me paint a vivid picture like the writer I am.

Eternity unfurls as an endless expanse, a canvas of time stretching infinitely in all directions, like a vast, starlit desert without boundaries. In this boundless void, there is no beginning or end, no markers of days or nights, just an eternal shimmering silence.

Now, imagine our existence on Earth as a single grain of sand, briefly cradled in the palm of a celestial being. We emerge from the depths of timelessness, like a fragile whisper in the grand symphony of eternity. Our lives, mere flickers, akin to the gentle breath of a breeze that ripples the surface of a tranquil pond.

In this perspective, our existence is but a fleeting moment, a heartbeat in the vastness of the cosmos. Our dreams, our struggles, and our joys are painted upon the canvas of time with the delicate strokes of existence. Yet, even the most vivid colors of our lives eventually fade, blending back into the eternal sea of nothingness.

Eternity stands as an enigma, its mysteries hidden beyond the reach of human comprehension. It is a realm where time itself loses meaning, where past, present, and future merge into a seamless whole. Our earthly sojourn is a blink of the eye in this boundless panorama, a whisper in the echoing corridors of forever.

As we ponder the contrast between our ephemeral presence on Earth and the infinite expanse of eternity, we are reminded to cherish each passing moment, for they are the rare and precious jewels of our existence, glistening briefly in the darkness before fading into the eternal tapestry of time.

And in the final act of this cosmic drama, death emerges as the bridge between our finite existence and the boundless realm of eternity. It is the moment when our earthly vessel, frail and mortal, returns to the dust from which it arose, a gentle sigh in the vast exhalation of time.

Yet, in the tapestry of eternity, death is but a door, not an end. For there exists the age-old belief that our souls, immortal and unyielding, are destined to journey beyond the confines of this world. With hope that transcends the boundaries of mortality, we envision a reunion with the stars, a rebirth into the infinite embrace of an afterlife.

In this perspective, our earthly lives become a mere chapter in a grand narrative, a fleeting moment of growth and transformation on the path to eternity. Each death is but a comma in the sentence of our existence, punctuating our earthly story with the promise of continuation, like a phoenix rising from its ashes.

So, let us ponder our existence with reverence, knowing that even as our bodies return to the embrace of the earth, our souls may embark on an eternal journey, forever entwined with the enigmatic threads of eternity

I thank the KATTI organizers for the interactive panel discussion on CBET Curriculum implementation at the ongoing KATTI Capacity Building Workshop that allowed the TVET Principals to be guided on the full roll out of the curriculum. This is in a bid to ensure that all trainees in our TVETs are equipped with proper and adequate hands on skills for the dynamic market for better access to job opportunities and empower them to create jobs to contribute to our country's economic growth.
