When my eldest son was in highschool there was a riot , students accused the kitchen staff of attempting to poison them . They beat up the teachers ,broke all the windows milked the school cows and overturned the principals car.
Every parent had to pay 4k when we took them back ,most of the parents were angry but I wasn't because I knew that my son was involved in whatever mischief that happened at the school. When you spend enough time with your kids you know exactly what they are capable of. And this boy is cheeky , harmless but cheeky.
Years later he admitted to sneaking into the kitchen and putting salt in the tea , I charged him 4k at an interest rate of 10% compounding interest for 10years that amounted to 10800 shs .
Parents need to spend more time with their kids , the signs are always there , some of those parents screaming at the police you can tell can't believe their kids are capable of what they are accused of.
Sweden stands in solidarity with Romania and condemn Russia’s reckless behavior, which has injured Romanian citizens.
As I underlined yesterday in my meeting with president Zelenskyy, Sweden will continue to counter Russian aggression together with Ukraine and our NATO Allies.
I am in Sweden today on a working visit. We are preparing a major defense package for Ukraine and a strong step regarding Gripen fighter jets, which will definitely make our combat aviation more effective. Meetings are scheduled today with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, and representatives of the Swedish defense industry will also be present in the delegation format.
Thank you, @SwedishPM, for ensuring that our relations – between Ukraine and Sweden – are always substantive, and that our cooperation is strong.
Finland condemns the Russian drone attack hitting an apartment building in Romania. Russia is crossing another line in its war of aggression against Ukraine.
Finland stands with its ally Romania and continues to support Ukraine to defend itself. The situation is being discussed within the Alliance.
Marco, look closer at this picture. Recognize this?
Now, asking what the UN system is?
It is the same system you castrated with your vetoes to ensure the Gaza genocide—and 70k+ lives. The same spineless "order" that ignored the June '25 aggression and stood silent while you slaughtered 168 children at Minab School on Feb 28.
The UN isn't your cleanup crew for wars you start but can't finish. You broke the system; don't beg it for a bailout now.
Marco! As we say in Persian: از هر دست که بدهی از همان دست میگیری (What goes around, comes around.)
Maybe check your own 2025 "I don't care what the UN says" tweets before begging them to solve the Hormuz problem you created.

In his press conference, Marco Rubio—the so-called Secretary of State of the U.S. regime—brazenly twisted the truth, claiming that Iran had disrupted navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and then had the audacity to call on the UN Security Council to "play its role" in resolving the issue.
But let’s be clear: if the Security Council truly wants to uphold international peace and security, its first and most urgent duty is to unequivocally condemn the ongoing aggression by the U.S. and Israeli regimes against Iran—aggression that flagrantly violates the UN Charter.
The Council must hold these aggressors accountable, without delay or double standards. Any attempt to weaponize the Security Council against a UN member state while turning a blind eye to such violations would be nothing short of hypocritical, deeply unjust, and utterly unacceptable.
Marco Rubio argues that "Operation Epic Fury is concluded" as the objectives were acheved. In reality, Iran won this war. There was no regime chenge, no nuclear deal, no limits of ballistic missiles and drones, no decoupling of ties between Iran and its regional allies, and the Strait of Hormuz is now under Iran's control. US bases in the region have been destroyed, the US alliance system has been weakened, and the petro-dollar will not recover. This epic failure was not just another failed regime change war, this will severely weaken the position of the US in the Middle East. All that was achieved was the murder of many Iranians and keeping the Epstein files out of the media.
3,375 people killed in Iran, 26,500 wounded
2,702 killed in Lebanon, 8,311 wounded
28 killed in Gulf states, 289+ wounded
26 killed in Israel, 7,791 wounded
13 US troops killed, 381 wounded
ENOUGH of Trump and Netanyahu's endless wars.
What a sobering moment it is to watch Marco Rubio say:
“We are asking the UN to tell Iran to stop blowing up ships in Hormuz because we want to give peace a chance.”
Just wow.
SECRETARY RUBIO: We’re asking the UN to call on Iran to stop blowing up ships, remove the mines, and allow humanitarian relief.
If the international community can’t rally behind this and solve something so straightforward, then I don’t know what the utility of the UN system is.
In today’s economy, I reaffirmed the true measure of education is not knowledge alone, but the ability to apply it to solve real-world challenges and create value. At the Nyakach Sub-County Career Fair, I joined young people, institutions and industry partners in advancing informed career choices, mentorship and skills development.
I emphasized the need for a balanced education ecosystem where universities and TVET institutions complement each other in building a competent and competitive workforce. I also reaffirmed Government’s commitment to CBET, dual training and stronger industry linkages to ensure training remains practical, relevant and outcome-driven.
I commend Hon. Aduma Owuor, the MP for Nyakach Constituency for this noble and impactful initiative. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to youth empowerment, education&training access and long-term transformation in the constituency and beyond.
The first fabric is a cotton shirt from Dolce & Gabbana worth USD 780 or KSH 100,000
The second fabric is a cotton shirt made locally and it would cost approximately USD 30 or KSH 3,800
Same cotton. Different brands.
The first fabric is bought by politicians and 'local elites' who looted the local industries that made the second fabric.
Afrika's poverty is institutionalised and then embedded deep in our heads.
The impoverishment of the afrikan economy is extractive, intentional and systemic.
The people who perpetuate the dehumanisation of Africans are the so-called elite Africans who are graduates from Eurocentric ideological institutions.
Irungu Kang’ata is not leaving UDA because of any profound ideological disagreement. He’s retreating to the familiar comfort of ethnic politics- the ethnic jingoism in Mt Kenya is so deep!
I had the wonderful opportunity to moderate a high-level fireside chat with His Excellency Dr. @WilliamsRuto , President of the Republic of Kenya and Global Champion for Affordable Housing for All, at the @2ndauf in Nairobi, Kenya.
It was a truly engaging and insightful conversation. His Excellency took the time to explain how he has prioritized affordable housing within Kenya’s national agenda, and how he has mobilized resources to turn this political commitment into a reality for millions of Kenyans. It was also a candid exchange, in which he openly shared both the progress made and the challenges he has faced, and continues to face, in delivering such a bold and transformative agenda.
I remain deeply grateful to the entire team at the @HousingUrbanKE and @UNHABITAT for this wonderful opportunity.
Many thanks to Hon. @PSCharlesHinga , Hon. Amb. @Nakhumicha_S , Mr. Mike Gitonga, Mr. Oumar Sylla, and to everyone who took the time to support me and help me prepare for this session.
It truly takes a village to make things happen, and that is something I know and deeply understand.

I predicted someone like Trump many years ago, in THE DEAD ZONE. So now I'm saying this--in the next 12-16 months, we're going to find out if the two machines for the removal of a man unable to fulfill his duties actually work. They are impeachment and the 25th amendment. He is deeply unwell .
For over a decade, we Iranians watched Western countries, Arab regimes, and their Israeli enablers stand by as our economy was deliberately crushed under the weight of America’s illegal sanctions and maximum pressure campaign.
We watched them eagerly comply with policies designed to destroy our nation, shatter our lives, crush our dreams, bankrupt our businesses, rot our infrastructure, devalue our currency, and cut us off from normal trade and economic relations with the world.
We watched European leaders pathetically nod in satisfaction and offer pathetic lip service as Trump declared the JCPOA a “bad deal,” using it as cover for the most brutal campaign against our people—fully aware that scrapping the deal was nothing more than his sick, twisted obsession with erasing his predecessor’s legacy.
We watched U.S. officials and their Israel lobby handlers proudly parade before Congress, armed with figures and statistics, boasting how their vicious policies had tanked our currency, spiked unemployment, sent inflation soaring, and inflicted trillions of dollars in damage on our already strained economy.
We watched them cheer these results and laugh at the shattered lives of millions of human beings.
We watched them dutifully support the first Trump administration’s sadistic policies—even during the COVID pandemic—when his criminal Secretary of State moved heaven and earth to block Iran from securing even a meager $5 billion IMF loan, while their own governments freely spent hundreds of billions to protect their populations from the same virus.
We watched them shamelessly endorse Israel’s attacks on our territory under the obscene slogan “Israel has the right to defend itself,” while branding Iran’s legitimate self-defense as “recklessness” and demanding that our government refrain from “escalation.”
We watched them applaud the assassination of our war veterans and heroes, our scientists, and our brightest minds - all in the name of “non-proliferation” - while they kept their mouths tightly shut about Israel’s nuclear arsenal and expansionist agenda.
We watched them, openly or in private, urging more pressure, more destruction, more assassinations, and more war.
All of it justified by the ludicrous and baseless claim that Iran seeks nuclear weapons—a lie they knew was false. They were fully aware that the enrichment levels and constraints Iran had accepted under the JCPOA, and during subsequent negotiations for a new deal, made militarization impossible.
They invented excuse after excuse to engineer our destruction, and they laughed while ensuring the pain was ours alone.
But things have changed. Iran will no longer stand by and watch its own destruction while others nod, cheer and laugh. They will not be laughing anymore.
This time, we will not be the only ones who feel pain. We will no longer tolerate unilateral sanctions and destruction.
We may die standing—but this time, we will all be in same boat.
China's President Xi Jinping must be the proverbial lucky child of modern geopolitics. While other world powers exhaust their resources and reputation in messy conflicts, Xi remains the primary beneficiary of global instability. Through their pursuit of draining and distracting wars, U.S. President Trump and Russian President Putin have essentially gifted him the world.
They’ve allowed Beijing to expand its influence across every continent without China having to fire a single shot. No one in human history has been gifted global hegemony on such a massive discount. Xi simply stands ready to collect the keys to a new era with only a minimum deposit on the Kingdom.
This morning, I had an engagement with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Ho Chi Minh City, which underscored a compelling principle: skills development delivers strongest outcomes when industry takes the lead.
In Vietnam, industry is not a bystander—it co-designs training, develops occupational standards, finances workforce development and provides real-time skills intelligence. Government enables, Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions deliver, but industry anchors relevance.
Through strong coordination and enterprise-based training, skills imparted in VETs are tightly aligned to labour market demand, closing critical gaps. This approach directly supports Kenya’s TVET reforms in strengthening industry linkages, advancing dual training and aligning CBET to market needs.
It confirms that when training is treated as an investment and industry is a co-owner, skills drive productivity, jobs and economic growth.
