What a beautiful day to celebrate Ukrainian heritage in Edmonton!

I spent time at UFest Edmonton Ukrainian Festival then went to the @cheremosh Ukrainian Dance Company to celebrate renaming a street in Beverly “Cheremosh Way” and did some dancing with @JanisIrwin! 💛 💙

We did it and it was amazing! We raised over $100 000 and still rising with our @StFXHighEdm 24 hour Bikeathon! What a cool day! @cssalberta @EdmCathSchools @cheremosh

When Stephan Moravski designed the set for our storyline’s village, he added hollyhock, a popular flower in Ukraine. Little did he know that this flower blooms behind Cheremosh’s studio every summer.
