@HvacNole@Esqueer_@Cliffor18175753@sfdb @UncrossEm There was literally a video a few months ago of girls asking an officer how he would decide if they needed to be checked for immigration status and he dead ass was like “well depends on what you look like”
@benkitia@fatfabfeminist@Aobius Ok so my wordage was bad lmao I’m not about to argue with y’all I was just trynna bring in a perspective the poster could’ve been coming from
Primary team: Patient has altered mental status.
Me: Do they speak English?
Team: Yes. We’ve been talking to them in English but they’re slow to respond and not always correct.
I go to patient and start speaking Spanish.
Patient appropriately responsive to my questions.
@crs_checkunit@wardboard@punishedmother@VIVaEnNOLA I don’t really know how to put it into words but I know exactly the vibe they’re throwing out with this trend cause I relate to it and my brain has kinda done the same thing where my automatic response was I’m just 21/22 when asked but I’m actually 26 lmao
@crs_checkunit@wardboard@punishedmother@VIVaEnNOLA Could be lmao but I think the trend is more of just still thinking you’re younger than you are and not feeling your age (like put together adult vs not put together adult like you thought you would feel)
@chuckcardoza @LindaWyatt@piper4missouri The teachers at mine would pick one of us to lead a prayer and it’s not like “no I don’t want to” was an acceptable answer. Also pledging to the American flag, bible, and Christian flag
I need people to focus on the real issue here: the value of creative labor, aka jobs. This is not about whether or not it qualifies as "art", whether or not it looks bad, etc. All of that is a just a distraction when we live in a world where we need to work to in order to live.
