It’s a super hard time just to try to exist, and if you aren’t saving your deepest sympathies for a crazy rich tennis star who has publicly opposed vaccination, well friends I very much get it.
But before you jump on the #NoVaxDjoCovid or #DjokovicOut bandwagons, consider… (🧵)
@jamesmiller62@greghopper14@pwafork James, the government already owns a distribution system for the 6th biggest country in the world. Its called Australia Post.

It's absurd.
All this cash to splash, but joe public is on their own with the virus. Just make sure you get over your infection and get back to work when your summer holidays are over. Scott's mates want their pound of flesh.

As such, it is pure incompetence that this wasn't part of the original National Test and Isolate protocol.

The same 'Can Do Capitalism' that gave Qantas $1.2 billion of our cash, again without receiving any equity in return.

@yassmin_a Moxie is a very interesting human being, valuing experience and knowledge above material things. He's worth reading up on. And check out his video zine called "Hold Fast" on Vimeo, about repairing an abandoned boat and sailing to the Caribbean.
@nbhorse@itsallterrible@SusieNoonan2@paulsakkal@DanielAndrewsMP@theage@VictorianCHO Did you read the article, champ? St Basil's failed to protect their staff, and they were exposed to the virus, risking spreading it to further residents. St Basil's management refused to comply and furlough staff. CHO stepped in to stop further spread.
