Spent a couple of weeks on this, rewriting some parts, editing some parts, basically putting everything together, and working with a great designer to piece it into what it is today.
Everything you wanna know about referral marketing? It's probably in here 😉
@mattragland As long as the newsletters look readable it works for me. I'm in for the content but if I can't even READ the content, it's a call for help 😅 of course the right graphics/memes/emojis at the right time also matters in capturing attention after a block of text
No one wants a confused customer! (or a potential one)
Can u imagine going on a landing page/product page
Having way too many buttons to click
Getting overwhelmed
And deciding to rage quit
Yeah that happens
Marketing copies that work well in making people wanna read:
"Things I wish I didn't do"
"Learn from my mistake"
And it's basically the Pratfall Effect
@brianaleigh_ugc I think content concepts and themes are pretty much open for all but how you interpret and turn it into your own content with a sprinkle or your personality and a dash of your uniqueness is really just on you 😊
@WriteToPersuade Nice! Thanks for the list! Noticed how they're all words that create a sense of urgency and exclusivity 😄
A couple others to add to the list:
Be one of the few
Almost gone
Final
Hurry
Running out
👍
@Email_Magician I actually wrote about email marketing with the customer lifecycle previously with a couple of examples but I'd love to get your opinion on it! https://t.co/Oa67moFzq3
@Email_Magician Completely agree!! Just having discounts is too much of an overkill. I'd get turned off if every single subject line was all about selling me more things.
Email drips that follow the customer lifecycle are key!!
@mattjohnsonjm For real, social media's been especially great for so many social proof tactics. Be it referral marketing, affiliate marketing, influencer marketing etc.
@chadross_ Hey Chad!
@gorgiasio has great resources on retention
@calashock has an expert guide on customer retention as well
Some of the resources here might also be useful, feel free to check them out: https://t.co/f3BVumxQ1V
Previous tweet got me thinking, we have Call to Action, Call to Benefit, what about Call to Action but FOMO version.
"Join the club like everyone else!"
"Get your ___ today and be a part of the ___ crew/community!"
Anything else anyone can think of?
Came across someone talking about Call to Benefits > Call to Action
and that was really insightful.
Be less about "Shop Now" and more about "Boost your confidence with ___", "Get a healthier body with ____", etc. It strikes consumers harder.
@MattMartorano We kinda broke down the relationship and importance of seeing CLV with word-of-mouth marketing, growth and churn in this article which might be insightful! https://t.co/GyCVM9eYez
@MattMartorano Defo won't go wrong. A strong CLV means your customers will help you grow through word-of-mouth marketing. As they become valuable, loyal customers, chances are they’ll spread your brand to their community and friends and that is a huge growth channel to take advantage of.
