May we learn from the stories of the women before us not to judge the choices they made with the knowledge and circumstances they had, but to make better choices with the opportunities and awareness we have today.
May we marry right.
May we never have to abandon our purpose just to survive our marriage.
And may the sacrifices and painful stories of our mothers become lessons that help another generation of women choose differently.
Every time I listen to our mothers tell their stories the struggles, the pain, and everything they had to endure. I am reminded of how much many women before us survived.
I have heard stories of women giving birth without knowing what they would eat afterward. Women raising children while constantly wondering where the next meal would come from. Women with dreams and ambitions who slowly had to give them up because of the kind of men they married and the circumstances they found themselves in.
Invest in yourself. Build yourself. Have something of your own. And please, marry wisely.
The wrong life partner can alter the course of your entire life. A person who does not believe in you can frustrate your dreams, suppress your ambition, drain your confidence, and reduce a woman who once had so much potential into someone simply trying to survive each day.
Marriage is too important to enter because of pressure, age, loneliness, money, or what people will say.
Seek the face of God. Pay attention to character. Look beyond words and temporary emotions. Ask yourself whether this person will genuinely support the woman you are becoming.
And sadly, for some of them, decades later, the struggle has still not ended.
I have heard enough of these stories to write a book or even make a short documentary about women who married the wrong partners, what they endured, and how society sometimes expected them to remain there, tolerate everything, and call it marriage.
Our mothers endured so much. But I donโt want our generation to inherit the same suffering and call it strength.
@ruffydfire At this point, can the government just shut down all the schools? Thereโs no real security anywhere, and terrorists are acting stronger than the nation itself. Can we not have one day without bad news?
@VivianRora @Churchy_billion His crime is basically because he is Igbo. I donโt understand the connection between him and EndSARS. A man who was already in detention, while those who ordered the shootings that took the lives of many young people are nowhere to be found, this is injustice.โ
@AloyEjimakor Nnamdi Kanu is facing life imprisonment, yet terrorists are moving freely, negotiating with the government, and even being absorbed into the military. This is deeply unfair and unjust on every side.

@OurFavOnlineDoc Iโm exhausted by the constant killings in Nigeria.
No place feels safe anymore. ๐ญ
Innocent worshippers lost for nothing, itโs heartbreaking.
Are terrorists stronger than the government?
Isnโt protection supposed to be their duty?

How many more lives must be wasted before the Federal Government of Nigeria takes action? Enough is enough. We need urgent reforms in our health and security sectors.
My heart breaks for the victims of the Yelewata killings in Benue. This violence must end. We demand justice, protection, and peace. Enough is enough. ๐๏ธ๐ #PrayForBenue#JusticeForYelewata#TrendingNow
To my fellow responders whether in a classroom teaching First Aid or on the field saving lives, we donโt just stop bleeding; we restore hope. Every bandage we wrap, every life we touch, is a reminder that healing begins with compassion. Thank you for choosing to serve.
