The Doyon and Winthrop Kindergarten teachers wrote and secured a grant called, Stepping Into Kindergarten. It is a program based on the work of Mr. Rogers by utilizing familiar rituals to create a safe, nurturing and predictable environment for our kindergartners.

Today was a fun day! We went into the math lab and had a number talk about 10. Next, we went to the STEAM Studio to tour the coral reefs with virtual reality glasses! This afternoon, we made kindness posters and helped spread kindness throughout our school! #WorldKindnessDay

We had pumpkin math today! First , we made predictions then we explored! There were 460 seeds in our pumpkin. It weighed 30 pounds, was 21 cubes high and 47 cubes around! AND it can float!
