The research shows that on a death of a baby or child, professionals do not always give families all the info needed to make an informed choice about how they wish their child to be cared for. If you are unsure of these services, contact your hospice who can advise.
Post bereavement suites are an amazing facility that children’s hospices offer. Allowing families to spend more time together after a child has died. At chestnut tree we offer this facility to anyone in the region, the child doesn’t have to of received hospice care #BLAW
A high number of CYP at the hospice depend on ventilators. This can be non invasive ventilation or invasive ventilation . Our vent nurse specialist keeps the team skilled up so we can provide respite to our CYP Staff from @SSChospices joined us & delivered a great physio session
