@jonbrooks A compressor is like $500-800 and it’s installed in the external unit which is relatively easy to access. It shouldn’t be more than $2-3k tops.
@Malachians@DocLibertarian Soccer is one of the cheapest sports so it has a high participation rate. Everybody puts their kid in soccer…doesn’t mean anything.
@djangofella@iwasmmueller88 No, im saying that most other countries don’t have other sports to focus on so they’re deluded into thinking their obsession is somehow special. It isn’t. In the us we have that level of obsession 100x over.
@djangofella@iwasmmueller88 Easy to focus on one sport when it’s all you have. Try being obsessive on a magnitude of 10 across multiples of sports. Dont let your love for soccer delude you from reality. Sports in America is likely unhealthy.
@TaylorTwellman Not only does a country like the Netherlands have far less than 1% of US athletes, those very few that they have often don’t have options for football, baseball, bball, lacrosse, hockey, swimming, etc…to chose over soccer.
@TaylorTwellman It’s an argument based on demographics and probability, along with America being the most intense sports culture. It’s so painful when people who don’t get stats respond with anecdotal forms of rebuttal. When the full weight of America is behind a sport, it’s often revealed.
