So ghanaians should take responsibility directly but the President should take responsibility indirectly.
Indirectly? The President of the Republic?
When Mahama was in opposition, did he ask Akufo-Addo to take responsibility indirectly? He blamed NADAA morning, afternoon, evening for the floods.
Now he is President and suddenly responsibility must be indirect. HOW?
Ghana came into being in 2017. Mahama has not been president before. NDC has not been in Government before. A group of shameless and dishonorable characters.
They did politics with ethnic conflicts; did politics with Galamsey; did politics with flooding; and even with a man who was electrocuted. Today, they say what? Spare us the ugly noises about patriotism and morality. You have none!!!
Stay safe out there. #AccraFloods
Our Anti-flood task force has failed us. They've not communicated any plan or sensitized the public since the rains started.
Chairman: Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations at the Presidency
1. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei, Minister of Water Resources, Works and Housing
2. Ahmed Ibrahim, Minister of local government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs
3. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP) Abdul Osman Razak, National Security Coordinator
4. Teddy Addi, Deputy DG NADMO;
5. Madam Marietta Brew Appiah-Oppong, Legal Counsel to the President and Secretary to the taskforce.
Until yesterday, June 24, Madam Sedinam Tamakloe was not in prison custody, fifteen clear days after her arrival in Ghana. - Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, Manhyia South MP..
The NDC promised a relief-focused agenda (RESET) to ease the cost of living for Ghanaians. Instead, we are met with another round of utility tariff hikes.
When your primary strategy for economic management is to consistently pass the burden onto the pockets of the citizen, you have clearly abandoned the very mandate you were elected to uphold.
from the 1824 battle of Nsamankow to the 'Ten Toes' 1949 UK tour, our football history has always been defined by resilience against the odds.
England still treats this fixture like a charity lesson for a former colony.
reality is that the bond of 1844 is dead; the only thing relevant today is the scoreboard. We’ve outgrown your narrative & we’re coming to outplay your squad. 🇬🇭#BlackStars #GhanaVsEngland
'He is doing well; he has exceeded our expectations.’
'Ghanaians even count me as part of the best-performing Ministers.'
Do you count Akandoh as part of the best-performing ministers?
Your city is under siege. People are losing homes & properties and your government is taking awards.
The priorities of this government are fundamentally broken.
Doctors don't hate Akandoh; they just want a Minister who understands the health sector.
You cannot order hospitals to absorb unlimited patients without providing the infrastructure to handle them.
The CEO made a clinical call while Akandoh made a political one. PKB understands health systems and the Akandoh understands optics.
KATH needed de-escalation but Akandoh chose to suspend the CEO; he lacks the change management competence this crisis demands.
Prez Mahama appointed Stan Dogbe to head the flooding task force. June comes & flood season hits but he chooses to prioritize statements about pornography.
He hasn't communicated any plan. There is no sensitization campaign or even one measure being put in place.
In 2017, global cocoa prices fell and the NPP protected farmers by making prices stay the same.
In 2026, global cocoa prices fell and Prez Mahama cut farmer prices 29%.
Now Dr. Bawumia has received the Minority's report from cocoa farmers and is preparing a policy alternative.
The contrast is stark. One government shields farmers from market shocks while the other uses market shocks to cut farmer income.
Cocoa farmers didn't ask for a haircut; they asked for protection.
A policy announcement is coming.

Linda Ocloo, Best Regional Minister while
Accra is drowning in floodwater with streetlights not working.
Armah-Kofi Buah, Best Male Performing Minister while galamsey is destroying lands and farms, water sources are contaminated & treatment plants are closing.
The government is rewarding itself for failing.
