Thai Soldiers Raise National Flag in Violation of Cambodian Territory, Defying Diplomatic Presence

PURSAT — A delegation of representatives from foreign embassies and diplomatic missions in Cambodia witnessed the installation of shipping containers and barbed wire in Thmar Da commune, Pursat province, in what authorities describe as a violation of Cambodian territory.

The visiting diplomats also observed Thai soldiers hoisting the Thai national flag on Cambodian soil, an act seen as disregarding Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
