If she had run an amazing campaign she would have won. The Democrats keep trying to win moderate Republicans. It's a losing strategy. Republicans are loyal. And Democrats aren't getting enough leftist or working class votes to win when they try to appeal to the moderate right.
Do not turn on Kamala Harris and start trashing the campaign she ran.
She ran an amazing campaign.
Put the blame on half of America who voted for hate and a daddy dictator who they think will take care of them, but who doesn't give a damn about them.
@balupuppy I don't agree with the idea that Biden was left of Obama. Maybe he was on a few key enacted policies. But not on vibes which you argued was more important. And certainly not on messaging during the campaign.
@balupuppy Cop approval is pretty much 50/50 split.
If your belief is more cops. And the options are that or that + goose stepping. Most pro cop people are gonna vote for the latter.
@balupuppy As to biden's economic policies not winning the election for kamla, I think the unfortunate reality is people vote on how they are living now and these policies take more than 4 years to improve people's lives.
@balupuppy On the argument that policy doesn't matter but vibes do, I think Bernie's vibes would beat Kamala's easily. Bernie's vibe is speaking to needs of the working class. Kamala's vibe is top cop.
@balupuppy Ok on a literal level that I agree with because of his age. Not because of his policy positions. People don't want to repeat what happened with Biden. I think his policy and platform would have won vs Trump.
Bernie would have won.
Left of center policies are overwhelmingly popular across the country. What isn't popular is a party that has abandoned the working and middle class and is funding a genocide.
@ClintWSabin @ChicagosMayor@cta Yes. And they basically have already post covid. I'm outranged our politicians aren't doing a better job at securing state and federal funding.
This is so embarrassing.
@ChicagosMayor@cta
CTA slow zones show Chicago's mayor isn't serious about addressing climate change nor racial inequality in transit access.
