Every year I celebrate Diwali with my Indian friends. In doing so, I’m making an accommodation for their culture in my country. I do it by free choice because they are friends

At Christmas, we will have our Indian friends over for Christmas dinner. However, DCC, who run a Diwali event, rename the Christian event to accommodate my Indian friends.

But my Indian friends, despite not being Christian, love Christmas, exchange gifts, go to carol services.
